The
Wascott Volunteer Fire Department covers 144 square miles in our township.
It also includes 204 miles of road.
The
Department is outfitted with two pumpers, one tanker and one equipment
vehicle.
Meeting dates and times: The first Wednesday of every month is our
training night. We start at 7pm. The third Wednesday of the month is
our business meeting, which also begins at 7pm. The third Saturday of
the month is another training that starts at 9 am.
Please feel free to contact any of our members if you are interested
in joining us in serving your community. If you are worried about
fighting fires, don't be. There are many jobs at the Fire Department
other than fighting fires. Helping fire fighters set up pumps at
watering points are some of the things that are amazingly important.
The task may seem of less importance, but fire fighters will beg to
differ. Please think about joining our fire department to help your
community.
Thank
you for supporting your local fire departments.
