Property Owners-Town of Wascott
Ordinance 2010-01 Ordinance to Regulate the Placement
of Snow on Roadways
There shall be no placing of snow on any roadway in the
Town of Wascott that would create a hazardous condition
for vehicle travel and persons shall not plow snow
across the roadway from their driveway.
Any
person adjudged to have violated any provision of this
Ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, forfeit $50
together with the costs of prosecution for each offense.
This
Ordinance may be enforced by a Town Board Supervisor, or
the Douglas County Sheriffs Department. The Town will
send warning letters to those in violation. Your full
compliance will be appreciated.
