All cereal-type boxes. Remove plastic liner & flatten.
12 & 24-pack cartons are acceptable.
Corrugated Cardboard
Flatten all boxes.
Magazines & Phone Books
Place in paper bag with junk mail and box board.
Junk Mail
Includes most mail-type items. NO photos, carbon or tissue
paper, paper towels, paper plates or notebooks!
Glass Bottles & Jars
Remove caps & rinse clean. Labels may be left on.
Bottles, jars only! NO window glass.
Cans & Foil
Aluminum, steel and tin cans accepted. Rinse clean, remove
labels & flatten. Aluminum foil and pans must be clearned.
Paper Milk & Juice Cartons
Rinse clean and flatten. Remove any drink straws.
Aerosol Cans
Must be empty. Remove tips and labels. Do not
puncture.
Plastics -
Douglas County accepts #1 and #2 plastics, only.
